So I didn’t post last night because I didn’t get back until 4 in the morning! We went to the Illuminate Paint Party at the ASB Showgrounds. It’s essentially a party that you wear all white to with DJ’s and dancing, and then at midnight they squirt literally tons of paint into the crowd with squirt guns, and they give you squirt bottles of paint so you can squirt whoever you want. They also had a slide and a slip n’ slide. It was absolutely crazy! I guess New Zealand really is home to some crazy things. I watched people falling down in paint, people with white masks, tons of guys in those white paint-suit things (that you can find at home depot). It was nuts! The pictures pretty much tell it all.
(The girl with paint literally caked on her face, Maddison, was in the front row for most of the night- she’s in mostly yellow paint. We were pretty frustrated with her because we couldn’t find her inside and she wasn’t where we decided to meet up outside when we decided to meet, but I guess she was just too distracted so much paint.)
Now back to studying!
